A small home like Mary's House often fits someone who does better with quiet, a steady routine, and the same few faces every day. A large facility may fit someone who wants a busy calendar and a big social circle.

Mary's House is licensed for six residents, so everyone eats at the same table and the caregivers know each person's habits. Residents keep their own doctors, and outside providers like hospice, home health and therapy come to the house when a doctor orders them.

We are an assisted living facility, not a nursing home. We don't provide skilled nursing. If someone needs nursing care all day and all night, a nursing home may be the safer choice, and we'll tell you that honestly.
